The Duggar Women Privacy Case Thrown Out By Judge

The Duggars spoilers reveal that the case that Jill Dillard, Jessa Seewald, Jinger Vuolo, and Joy-Anna Duggar had filed in 2017 has been thrown out. The four sisters claimed that authorities revealed many private things about them to the public and they decided to sue them for doing so.

The Duggars Spoilers – The Case Is Out

In 2017, the Duggar women filed this lawsuit in Arkansas and were really hoping to make some headway with it. This past Wednesday, however, the case was thrown out. The U.S. District Judge, Timothy L. Brooks said of his ruling that the Duggar sisters “have not presented any direct proof or reasonable interference to prevail on their claims.”

The Duggar sisters were quick to file this lawsuit after there were investigation documents that leaked to InTouch magazine and then published without their permission. These documents were all part of the investigation into their brother, Josh Duggar, and the charges that he molested these women when they were teenagers.

The Duggar Spoilers – Sisters Speak Out

Jill was quick to speak out about the case to her fans. She and her husband run a family website, where she posted about it. She wrote to her fans, “While we appreciate the hard work the Court has put into our case and we highly respect the judge, we are disappointed with the ruling that the city and county’s statutory immunity protects them from our claims. It is unfortunate that bad actors, under the guise of public service, are given a license to intentionally inflict pain without regard for innocent victims.”

She finished off by saying, “The judge made it crystal clear that the reports were illegally released. This should have never happened, and we hope this never happens again to anyone. It is what compelled Derick to change careers and pursue law school in the first place, and we will continue to fight for victims’ rights.” We do hope that the Duggar sisters can get some closure from this, even though it did not work their favor.
