Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) really wanted to support Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) in her Hope For The Future fashion show set up for the press to preview her new line, but he just couldn’t handle Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) there as her designer and support system. He even brought Hope to tears when Liam just couldn’t bring himself to be the husband support she needed.
Hope had to proceed knowing her husband was angry at her and when Liam tells the whole sordid tale to Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), they are horrified. How could Liam just give up on his wife like that and let Thomas all the glory on her big day? They do everything they can to get Liam to change his mind and do the right thing rather than the dumb thing and it looks like their pleas may work but at the wrong time.
Hope goes on with the show without Liam and puts on her big girl pants to talk to the press and model the final gown. Thomas looks on adoringly and loves being the person who Hope depends on. He even knows that she thinks he is hot.
When the show ends, Hope shows off a gown designed by Thomas and they join hands just like Liam expects as Thomas and Hope get all the glory. Does Liam show up to see this at the very end and see everything that he predicted?
If so, it looks like things may be going south quickly for Hope and Liam’s marriage. Hope just wanted Liam to be there for her no matter how he feels about Thomas, but selfish Liam couldn’t do it until his father and brother told him to buck up and be a man. It’s hard for Liam to do that, so it’s easy to imagine what bonehead next move he will make. Stay tuned to The Bold and the Beautiful weekdays to see how these stories play out.
