Soap Stars Kelly Kruger And Darrin Brooks Welcome Second Baby To Family

The Bold and the Beautiful star Darin Brooks and former The Young and the Restless star Kelly Kruger just welcomed a second daughter into their family.

While we haven’t seen either soap star on-screen for a while, off-screen Brooks and Kruger are living the family life. Gemma Winter Brooks was born on January 29, 2022, weighing in at 9 lbs, 13 ounces and weighing 21 inches. She joins 2-year-old sister Everleigh Jolie, making a family of four.

“We are just overjoyed! We couldn’t be happier! We always wanted a sibling for Everleigh because I have my older brother and Kelly has an older brother and two stepsisters,” Brooks told People. “So we were so excited to be able to give Everleigh a sibling and when we found out it was a girl, it was perfect because Everleigh is just so awesome, caring, strong and such a personality.”

Kruger, who played Mac on Y&R and occasionally returns for quick visits, also weighed in on her new daughter.

“I can’t wait to see her little personality and who she becomes,” Kruger said. “Becoming a mother for the second time is definitely more emotional because we now know what to expect with everything. It’s truly such a miracle and such an incredible journey.”

Both stars also explained their new little girl’s name. “We decided to use both because when we asked our daughter, Everleigh, what name she liked for baby sister, Gemma or Wynter, she would always say ‘Gemma Wynter.’ So we said ‘why not just do what Everleigh wanted to name her baby sister, Gemma and Wynter?’ So it’s actually kind of sweet that she now played a big part in naming her baby sister!”

B&B Spoilers – Where’s Wyatt Spencer?

Wyatt Spencer has been missing from The Bold and the Beautiful scene for months, but he is still a part of the cast and we are supposed to see a storyline for him and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) soon. Of late, Wyatt has only been there to be a support for his mother, Quinn (Rena Sofer), and her many problems. He is also engaged to Flo, but so far, we haven’t heard any wedding plans.
