Sister Wives Star Kody Confirms Christine Was Just The Nanny?

Sister Wives spoilers for Season 17 reveal that Kody Brown and Christine sat down for a number of conversations about their relationship. Last season, TLC confirmed that Christine kicked him to the curb, and the new show brings the final days of their spiritually married life. In a new teaser, it seems to confirm that Kody only ever wanted her around to be a nanny.

TLC spoilers over the years revealed that Christine pretty much raised the kids. Actually, Janelle’s kids enjoy all of her children, as they were raised together. Bear in mind, Janelle worked, so her kids needed someone to be around for them.

To this day, they love to get together for vacations, something Kody resisted in Season 16. As Christine loves kids, she said that Kody broke the last straw when he made light of Ysabel’s back surgery.

Sister Wives fans were surprised to hear that Robyn tried to persuade Kody to sleep over at his third wife’s home when he heard that she wanted out of the plural family. Naturally, Kody didn’t buy into that, and he clearly felt very angry and Christine upset his little apple cart.

Now that a teaser brought Part 2 of their conversation, the fact that Christine raised the kids arose once again. And, Robyn was mentioned.

TLC fans know that Robyn and Kody employ a nanny. So, when he  and Christine held  a conversation, Kody mentioned Robyn’s kids. He also mentioned Janelle’s kids. In the teaser shared by TLC on September 2, Christine said that she tried really hard to be a good wife to him.

Super-sarcastic, Kody also talked about how she didn’t “treat [her] sister wives with kindness and respect.” He mentioned how she looked after Janelle’s kids but didn’t care for their mom.

Well, Sister Wives fans probably agree with Christine who didn’t understand that statement. After all, Janelle and Christine seem to get along just fine. Of course, Kody threw a tantrum again, and in his confessional, he raged about how it makes him “want to scream.”

And, he hated the fact that Christine wouldn’t help to raise Robyn’s kids. Well, why would she need to? After all, it’s not like Robyn holds down a job.

Poor Kody Brown felt so hard done by about that, he sounded as if Christine the nanny just didn’t do her job. Perhaps that’s why he felt she didn’t deserve bedroom payment in kind. Recall, in Sister Wives Season 16, Christine claimed that he withheld intimacy from her.

One TLC fan commented, “Robin has a nanny so why did Christine need to watch more kids?” However, she might have that nanny because Christine refused to be Robyn’s slave.

Another one agreed, saying, ” Robin thinks she’s a Kardashian. 2 little kids is SUPER overwhelming ? Lol.” Never mind what “does the nanny do?” What the heck else would unemployed Robyn be doing with her time?
