Sister Wives Star Christine Is The Only One With Her Eyes Open

Sister Wives fans can expect a great September judging by the teasers for Season 17. Actually, for a change, a lot of folks say that they “can’t wait” for the show. In the past, they tended to groan about yet another bout of Kody Brown being ultra-annoying. And let’s face it, the people magnet this time is Christine Brown. In more ways than one, she seems to be the only wife with her eyes wide open.

Sister Wives – Season 17 Spoilers – Meri Brown Frowns

New teasers and spoilers for season 17 reveal that Meri Brown might be aiming to be the big fish in the pond again. Actually, the irony isn’t lost on TLC fans seeing she was the first one to try and unsuccessfully split from Kody. In fact, she seems to forget that she nearly went off with her very own catfish. And, she seems so desperate for her spiritual husband, some folks suspect she snitched on Christine to Kody about her intentions to leave.

Sister Wives spoilers revealed that it’s been about a year since Christine Brown kicked Kody to the curb. Apparently, she’s really happy living her single life in Utah. After all, she’s got her grandchild Avalon close by, and her daughter Mykelti expects twins. Meanwhile, Paedon is closer to her since he left St. George, and Apsyn lives around the corner. But, Meri’s got a downer on it all.

Sister Wives – Christine Brown Literally Has Her Eyes Open

On Sunday, August 28, TLC dropped another tease for Season 17. On Instagram, the question arose as to whether Christine can still be a sister wife. Meri, who didn’t seem to care about that a few years ago, had the most forceful thing to say, with her dramatic closed eyes and sighs. Meanwhile, Robyn also closed her eyes and sighed about how she doesn’t “recognize” her “family.” 

Watch this space! We think that this upcoming season of Sister Wives will see some heat going the way of Janelle. While she didn’t heave and sigh about Christine leaving, she took the middle road, mentioning how the “door’s open.” And she gave that grumpy half-closed side-eye. But, Meri said, “If women are not married to the same man, they’re not a sister wife anymore.”

Sister Wives fans saw that Meri looked fierce for a minute, forgetting that she might be a sister wife to Robyn and Janelle, but she ain’t no “wife” of Kody. Of all of them, Christine look clear-eyed, and no she didn’t sob over Meri basically locking her out of her miserable life. Neither did she seem particularly guilt-stricken when Kody claimed she basically “betrayed” the others.

Actually, she admitted that the “answer is no” when it comes to being a sister wife or not. But, it seems doubtful that she’ll cry a river over it.
