With everyone telling Meri that she needs to leave her marriage, she pushes Kody to love her and she stands by him no matter what. Despite how distant Kody has been toward her, she still feels the need to hang on to his every word and to keep pushing their marriage. Meri was pretty upset about Christine Brown leaving the family and when she heard the news, her emotions were all over the place. She told fans, “I still have a lot of emotions about this whole situation. I feel angry and I feel a little betrayed and I feel like I understand where she’s coming from. And I also know that anger is a secondary emotion. I’m hurt. I’m hurt that she doens’t see value enough in our family.”

Meri has been at a loss for words when it comes to how she is feeling about Christine leaving. Of course, her fans think that she should be jealous of her because she got out of this marriage, but Meri has been open that she can leave anytime she wants, but she isn’t going to because she feels that leaving the marriage just isn’t right for her.

No matter what has happened, Meri she is standing by Kody and her marriage. She told the cameeras, “My stregth is sticking around and seeing if Kody would be willing to work on a relationship. So I leave that door open, but I’m not pining away for it.” She added about Christine, “Well, the closure that she’s saying that she gets is just she decides, and he just goes along with it. So I don’t know. Kody and I are in this situation. We’re not legally married. I want to work on the relationship, but Jody has just said that he doesn’t. Does that mean we’re just not married anymore? That’s not how I consider it. I feel like we’re still married.”

Meri’s fans will continue to push her to leave Kody, but it seems as if she is being strong in her marriage and may never leave no matter how he treats her.
