Sister Wives Spoilers: Why Christine Brown Always Wanted to be Third Wife

Sister Wives spoilers reveal that Christine Brown always thought being the third wife was what she needed in her life. She said that being the third wife just “seemed easier.” She mentioned recently in People Magazine, that she never wanted a man who had only been married once, she wanted a man who had been married twice.

Christine has started to share more about her plural marriage and she pointed out to her fans, “I always thought that being the third wife would be the best. The first one had all the responsibility of the guy, which is way too much work. Then with the second one, it always seemed like there were a lot of hard times and change, so I’m like, ‘No, don’t sign me up for that.’ Number three just coasts right in the middle. Easy.”

Kody Brown married Christine in 1994 and they were living in Lovell, Wyoming at the time with Meri and Janelle Brown. Christine had always believed in being in a plural marriage and she wanted that lifestyle to be hers. After 26 years of marriage, she decided that plural marriage was not making her happy and she wasn’t being appreciated the way that she once was.

Sister Wives Spoilers- Feeling Happy And Free

Christine was excited to move out and when she packed up the car, she said that she felt free for once in her life. “It was exciting and new and so scary because I had no idea what to expect, but I remember feeling hope for the first time in a long time because I just got to take my by my own and go.” The hardest part has been the fact that Kody and Christine share six children. Their youngest, Truely Brown, just started middle school and she decided to move back to Utah with her mother. Although Christine has said Kody is still co-parenting with her, it doesn’t seem like he has done much to help.

We are so happy that Christine has finally made her way out of her unhappy marriage and is now focused on growing as a person and living her own life.
