Sister Wives spoilers reveal, according to E! News that Christine and Kody have two distinctly different takes on how their marriage derailed. One year following the disintegration of their relationship, new details have come to light about the end of their marriage.

Kody and Christine —who announced their split via Instagram in November 2021 — spoke about it on the December 18 Sister Wives: One on One special. Christine addressed her ex-husband’s previous comments about a lack of attraction to her.

“To hear that he wasn’t attracted to me, it was terrible to hear,” she told host Sukanya Krishnan. “And it’s super embarrassing, right? Ugh. I just got to thinking, ‘You know what? It really just goes both ways.’” Christine explained that it was then that she became fully aware that her 25-year marriage to Kody was over.

“After he said that, I was kind of like, ‘Oh, well then, I’m done. Then it’s over,’” she went on. “It was almost a relief. ‘Well then, I’m not going to keep fighting for this, and I’m not going to keep trying and I’m not going to keep doing this if you’re not attracted to me. So, everything that I’ve done for you, for the family means nothing.’”

Christine Brown Recalls Huge Weight Lifting at End

During the Season 17 premiere of Sister Wives that dropped in September 2022, Kody said he was “turned off” by Christine’s “behavior” seeming to point to where Christine stood with the other Sister Wives, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn Brown. He also added that he hadn’t been attracted to her when they got hitched back in 1994.

Christine addressed the “behavior” remark directly in the One on One special, saying, “I’m not a child. I’m your wife. You don’t talk to me like that,” she said. “My bad behavior? That’s just insulting. Please. I’m an adult. That’s just rude and belittling. No, how dare you? I was furious when he said bad behavior.”

Christine then recalled when she and Kody finally decided to call it quits and go their separate ways, saying, “Finally. Gosh. Huge weight. Finally, at the end of the conversation, I was like, ‘Good because it’s over. Come on. Stop fighting for something that your ego’s attached to.’”

Kody Brown Calls Christine ‘Game Player’

During the One on One special Kody, who shares six of 18 youngsters with Christine, alleged that Christine had “completely decided” that her marriage was over by the time they had their season 17 conversation. Then he went a little more on the offensive, calling his 3rd wife a “game player.”
