Sister Wives Spoilers: Kody Brown Talks About Divorce

Sister Wives spoilers, news, and updates tease that Kody has opened up about his divorce from Christine. Here’s what the reality TV star has to say about it.

“I feel like I have strained ties with many of the children. I don’t feel good among everyone,” Kody explained.

“It’s not that I’m irate, attempting to hold them responsible right now, or anything of the sort. “I don’t feel like I get the respect that I should have,” he added.

Christine said that she and Kody had drifted apart after 25 years of being together, and she has decided to leave for good. She added that they will still be present in the lives of their kids. Christine and Kody officially announced their separation on Instagram in November 2021.

Since then, Christine has been living in Utah, and she reportedly sold her share of the land to Kody. Christine added that she’s looking forward to having a monogamous relationship rather than a polygamous one.

“I want a person who genuinely loves me and wants to be with me intimately. “From now on, I’ll only date one person at a time,” she explained.

In an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming episode this Sunday, it was revealed that Kody spent some time away from his family to officiate the wedding of a friend. However, Christine took offense at his decision.

Christine said their kids were left heartbroken after learning that their father had the time to go to a wedding but couldn’t be with them for an important family matter. Christine explained that Ysabel couldn’t understand how Kody could “justify” attending the social event but didn’t want to be with her at the hospital for her surgery.

Kody explained that he was only gone for four days for the wedding. But Ysabel’s surgery and recovery would take about six or eight weeks away from home. He argued that he couldn’t stay away from work, home, and family for that long.

“What the hell. You think you get to go officiate your friend’s wedding and not take care of your own family?” Christine said.

She’s pleased to know that she’s no longer married to Kody because she can’t respect him anymore. He can’t respect who he is as a person and the choices that he’s making.
