Sister Wives Spoilers: Kody Brown Explains Why He Missed His Daughter’s Surgery

Sister Wives spoilers reveal that Kody Brown is ready to talk about the reasons why he missed his daughter’s back surgery during the pandemic. Christine Brown not only had to raise all of the money for their daughter’s surgery, but she had to accompany her without her father to New Jersey. This put quite a strain on her relationship with Kody, as well as their daughter’s.

When it was time for Ysabel Brown to have her scoliosis surgery, she wanted both of her parents to be with her. This is not how it happened though. Kody told Christine that he was worried about contracting COVID and then brought up the fact that he was asked to officiate a wedding for a friend at the same time and told him that he would do it. Christine was very angry about it and she told the cameras, “Ysabel’s heartbroken, oh my gosh. She goes, ‘how can he justify officiating Brian’s wedding when he wouldn’t even come to my surgery?'”

Kody knew that he had to speak up about what he did as well. He told the cameras, “Ysabel’s surgery was at a time and a situation where it would’ve required that I’m six or eight weeks away from home. No man can be away from work and from home and from the family that long.”

Sister Wives  – Christine Brown’s Reaction

Christine was visibly upset when he told her that he was not coming with her to help take care of their daughter at such a difficult time. She asked him why he thought that he could just officiate the wedding and not show any concern about his family. Kody stands by the fact that Christine makes him out to be the villain in all of this, but he truly is the one who decided not to go to his daughter’s surgery.
