Sister Wives spoilers reveal that, according to Insider, Janelle Brown still has affection for her husband. But that affection may just not be enough as she adds that she’s not entirely sure it’s love. Kody questioned his second wife’s loyalty and pondered whether she was “strong enough” to help him on an emotional level.

While at dinner, Kody and Janelle got down to brass tacks about loyalty and ultimately began to question whether either of them was committed enough. “I’m trying to determine now if we’re viable in the future,” Janelle told cameras in a one-on-one interview.

During their dinner date, Kody told Janelle, “You and I have been acting like we weren’t a married couple for most of our marriage,” adding that she actually lives like a single woman. It seemed Janelle was prepared for the question because she had a very detailed answer ready, telling cameras that plural marriage, as she thought she knew it, encourages women to be independent.

“I’ll ask him, and my needs get ignored and everything gets ignored. So, guess what? I decided to be my own hero and I rescued myself and I started doing things for myself.” However, Kody, for his part, seemed to be reading his second wife’s behavior as disloyalty.

Viewers saw a possible example of this when Janelle refused to comply with Kody’s strict COVID-19 protocol for the Brown family in season 16.

What led to the conversation was when Janelle asked her husband if he would defend her as much as he was defending his fourth wife, Robyn Brown, were he to discover the family treating her poorly. This line of reasoning led Kody to praise his fourth wife’s loyalty to him.

Janelle reflected on Kody’s words and then told cameras, “All I’m hearing is, ‘Robyn is perfect, Robyn is great, Robyn treats me the way I’m supposed to be treated. You need to all of the sudden be this way. We have a small team, everybody’s got to conform, and then we’re good,” adding, “that’s not what I signed up for” (via Yahoo!).
