Sister Wives Spoilers: Christine Brown Haven’t Spoken With Meri & Robyn After Splitting From Kody

Sister Wives Christine Brown who called her marriage with Kody Brown quits back in November 2021, and moved out of Australia back to Utah has revealed exclusively to Us Weekly on Tuesday, Oct. 18, that since she left her marriage and moved out, she hasn’t spoken to Meri and Robyn, neither have they spoken to her too. Christine said it had to do with the fact that back when she was still married to Kody she never got along with them except for Janelle.

When asked if it bothered her that she never had a good relationship with Meri and Robyn, Christine replied “No” she went on to add that it doesn’t bother her one bit because she’s currently faced with the task of being herself. Christine said, “I’ve never just been me. Like, I got married and then had kids and everything, and so I’m just doing that right now.”

Sister Wives — Christine Once Bumped Into Kody After Their Split

Christine who has always been close to Janelle admitted to keeping in touch with Janelle, she revealed that even after she moved out their friendship is still intact to the extent that Janelle comes over to visit her in Utah and even sleeps over. “She’s come to visit me several times. I have a guest room and she stays in the guest room, and her sister also lives about a half an hour from me. So she’ll see her and then she loves seeing Aspyn and Mykelti and the baby and all of it. So we’ve gone on a couple of trips together too.”

Despite the long distance between Christine and Kody, Christine revealed that she once bumped into Kody and Robyn while attending a family function, she said that the moment they met, the atmosphere became awkward, it took every ounce of maturity in her to walk past them. “But, you know, you put your adult hat on and you move forward and that’s just what you do. So, it was fine.”

Sister Wives — On How Difficult It Was For Christine To Tell Her Co-Wives About The Split

Christine also told Us Weekly that telling her co-wives that she and Kody would be splitting, and she would be moving out was one of the hardest things she has ever done, watching the scene when it was released on their Tv Show wasn’t any better. Christine said that when she announced to Janelle, Meri, and Robyn that she is leaving, Meri and Robyn felt indifferent about the news, it was only Janelle that broke down in tears saying, “Just [because] Janelle really kind of knew [about the split] and for her to break down like that and just talk about the loss of, like, what is she supposed to do with her kids now, you know, that was difficult.”

Even after their split, Kody finds it difficult to let Christine be, he has been throwing derogatory words at Christine. Kody even went as far as saying that he’ll keep testing Christine to make sure she’s really serious about staying on her own, “You never know when she’s going to realize that the life she’s looking to create somewhere else isn’t going to be any better than what she’s had or got.”
