Sister Wives season 17 spoilers reveal that this season of the show has brought some of the highest ratings in years. The show returned on September 11 and TLC was not ready for how many viewers would be tuned in. Could it be the storyline of Christine Brown leaving the family? Sister Wives – The Ratings Explosion

The new season of Sister Wives is going to be one for the books and fans are already seeing some major cracks in the Brown family. With this new season, comes a lot of new viewers too. The ratings exploded for the first episode of the season and the Browns haven’t seen ratings like this since season six. The Nielsen data reports that the first episode of this season averaged 2.2 million viewers. The demographic of women from 18 to 49 was at a 1.42 rating, which is the highest that Sister Wives has seen in six years!

TLC announced that “tweet volume saw triple-digit growth compared to previous premieres.” As far as social media goes, the premiere was top on Facebook, number three on Instagram, and number four on Twitter. The last season of the show averaged about 2 million viewers per episode and the network was really excited to see this growth. Let’s see if it does last throughout the season though.

From what fans have heard from TLC, the network has been pushing this season of the show pretty hard. With Christine Brown leaving Kody Brown, fans are excited to see how it all played out. The family has been sharing their lives with their fans for over a decade and many fans have grown to love them as their own family.
