For as long as Sister Wives has been on the air, fans have often wondered what it was the Brown patriarch did to support his four (now three) wives and 18 children. According to Screen Rant, Kody’s son with Christine, Paedon cleared up at least part of the mystery in a March TikTok clip, confirming that his father did, in fact, have a job beyond TLC.

Of course, Paedon failed to reveal exactly what his father did for work but, with a little digging, fans uncovered the truth. A Reddit user noted that Kody was listed as the president of a firearms and accessories store in Utah.

Though the Sister Wives alum founded the business in 1997, public records show that it is now closed. However, the Brown patriarch has been seen at gun shows throughout the country. Though it’s been murky trying to put a finger on exactly what Kody did for a living, it has now been confirmed.

A Reddit user managed to discover images of the father of 18 working a booth at a gun show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and shared them, settling the issue once and for all. In the images we can see Kody, dressed in a black shirt, standing over a table filled with guns, ammo, and accessories.

The Redditor captioned the image with, “Saw this on FB, just confirming the rumors he sells guns.” Further down, the post explains, “We live in Southwest Missouri…. and my husband’s spend this past weekend in Tulsa, Oklahoma at their annual gun show.” The Sister Wives fan described the venue as having 4,000 tables spread out over 11 acres.

As fans know, the Brown family has been paid well for their appearances on Sister Wives which is currently filming its 17th season. However, it has never been revealed, until now, exactly what Kody does for money elsewhere.
