Sister Wives spoilers, news, and updates tease that fans slammed Kody Brown after asking for half of Christine’s assets following their split. The pair has been having issues on how they should divide their assets and viewers were shocked to learn that Kody thought he’d get a share from the house’s money.

The dynamics within the Brown family drastically changed when Christine announced that she was leaving Kody for good. She decided to move to Utah permanently and start fresh with her daughter, Truely.

Sister Wives – Kody Brown Insists On 50-50 on House’s Money

Christine thought about selling her house in Arizona, but she didn’t know how to tell Kody about her plans. When she did, Kody thought he would get half of the proceeds from the sale of Christine’s house.

Christine had something different in mind. She told Kody she would keep the money from the house sale and give him her land from Coyote Pass. Kody agreed to it at first but complained about it later on during a confessional.

Fans were quick to go to social media to call him out. They also disagreed with Christine’s idea to give up her piece of land. They would rather have her keep both properties. Kody wanted to get half of the house’s money and use it to clear up the land so Janelle could start building her house. Christine didn’t agree to it even when Kody insisted that he thought that they would split the assets in half. Some followers of the show slammed Kody for his selfishness and reminded him that he and Christine only had a spiritual marriage. There’s no legal document that would support his claim for splitting the assets in half.

Sister Wives – Meri Brown Reacts To Christine Brown’s Decision To Leave

Meri Brown admitted that she has plenty of emotions regarding Christine and Kody’s situation.

“I feel angry and I feel a little betrayed, and I feel like I understand where she’s coming from,” Meri said.

“I also know that anger is a secondary emotion. I’m hurt. I’m hurt that she doesn’t see value enough in our family,” she continued.

Kody also expressed his anger over a lot of things. He’s angry over Christine’s decision to leave. He’s furious that she’s moving to Utah and her plans to sell the house. He’s also angry that Christine moved his stuff out and asked him to leave.
