She told host, Sukyana Krishnan, “I just had to be always positive and upbeat and ‘whatever you need’ and ‘absolutely’. I didn’t mind, it was what I did, it was completely fine… until it wasn’t. All of a sudden, I just realized I couldn’t anymore.”

Christine Brown said that she really did have to come to a point where she had to say ‘no’ to Kody Brown and was tired of how things were not changing between the two of them and she knew that she had to get out. This was that moment when things in her mind started to change.

Christine pointed out that Kody didn’t think that she would make these changes and he kept withdrawing from her. She said that when he started to withdraw, that pushed her to do the same. She also pointed out that Kody did a lot of therapy and she focused on how he thought that was changing him. According to her, nothing had changed with them. She knew it was time to go.

Kody and Christine were married for 25 years and during that time, they grew further and further apart. When Christine made the announcement about leaving the plural marriage, fans were shocked and many think that Meri Brown could be next, but she continues to stand by Kody no matter what.
