Royal Family News: King Charles Will Invite Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To His Coronation

British Royal Family News suggests that King Charles III is taking the high road. There’s a new report that suggests the King of England will invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to his coronation in May, despite everything that has been said in their controversial Netflix series, Harry and Meghan. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the Daily Mail, Charles will be sending an invite to Harry and Meghan to attend his historic coronation at Westminster Abbey in London. An insider said, “Harry is his son and His Majesty will always love him. While things are difficult at the moment, the door will always be left ajar.”

The source also went on to say that it’s unlikely that the invitation will be revoked, even though more secrets will be coming out in Harry’s upcoming memoir, Spare.

That said, there has been some speculation that Charles is looking to take action against Harry and Meghan for throwing the royals under the bus in the way they have done so far. Royal correspondent Jonathan Sacerdoti, who often has something to say about the royal family in one way or another, said, “Regarding the Coronation, I think it’s a real dilemma. It might seem very aggressive not to invite Megan and Harry though most people would understand exactly why that decision would have been made. However, it might be that a creative solution could be found whereby Meghan and Harry are not invited, but that merely reflects a wider decision about non-working royals, perhaps.”

He added, “That’s what happened during the Jubilee celebrations on the balcony when other non-working royals weren’t included so the focus wasn’t just on any individual who had been left out. Part of the problem is that the Royal Family is damned if they do and damned if they don’t.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about Netflix’s Harry and Meghan, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said.
