Royal Expert Says Kate Middleton Blossoming Into Future Queen Consort Role

The Royals spoilers and updates tease a royal expert believes that Kate Middleton is “amazingly” blossoming” into her future role as Queen Consort. The Duchess of Middleton is doing what is expected of her and is “not in competition” with her husband, who is next in line to the throne.

Penny Junor, a royal author, made this observation and added that the Duchess of Cambridge has “got better and better” ever since she joined the royal family 10 years ago.

Getting Better Since Joining The Royal Family

In an interview with Express.co.uk, Junor pointed out that Kate, who is turning 40 on Sunday, is turning into her royal role “amazingly.” The Duchess is the future Princess of Wales and Queen Consort.

“She’s got more confident, she’s poised, she’s elegant, she’s just doing the most amazing job,” Junor said.

“She’s doing her own thing but she’s not in competition with William at all,” she added.

Junor added that the Duchess of Cambridge has become a great support and consort to Prince William.

Is Kate Becoming More Like Diana?

As Kate approaches her 40th birthday, many people are comparing her to the late Princess Diana. Ingrid Seward, a royal expert said that Kate is similar to Diana in terms of how she handles the children.

“She chats away. She talks a lot, and she has suddenly become more like Diana actually. Really chatting with people and engaging with them in a personal way, telling them little bits about herself,” Seward said.

She described Kate as a patient, willing to listen, and is good with both young and adults, all of which are the traits of the late Princess Diana.

Being More Confident And Overcoming Shyness

Seward also pointed out that Kate managed to overcome her shyness. She’s become more confident and poised. She’s opened up to adding more fun to her royal duties. Not only that, she dons a chick and a daring wardrobe.

Last month, the Duchess of Cambridge played the piano at Westminster Abbey. Sources said that if this happened in the past, Kate would never be able to go through the performance because she’s too nervous and self-conscious.

Kate’s birthday isn’t expected to be a flashy event. She’ll probably spend the special day with close friends and family.
