Prince William Refuses To Respond To Rumors Started By Prince Harry

Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted out and about a day after Prince Harry’s pre-recorded interview aired on the Today Show.

The royal couple continued with their royal duties regardless of the rumors unleashed by Harry through his latest interview, and when questioned about one of Harry’s controversial topics, they kept a dignified silence and left.

Prince William Refuses To Speak Out About Harry’s Recent Claims

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited London headquarters of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) as the organization announced that it has raised over £300 million to support displaced Ukrainians. At the event, which took place on Thursday, April 22, Prince William and Duchess Kate also pledged to donate more to help Ukrainians amidst the Russian invasion of their country.

“With more than 11 million people having had to flee their homes to escape the conflict in Ukraine, we heard from the @decappeal about the support they are providing to those who have been displaced,” the couple tweeted about the visit.

When they were leaving the DEC headquarters, the two encountered a female journalist who screamed at them: “Sir, does the Queen need protecting?”

The Duke and Duchess did not respond but continued into their vehicle before being driven away.

Prince Harry On His Desire To Protect The Queen From The Wrong People

Speaking about the “special relationship” he solely enjoys with his grandmother during the interview, Harry said: “Being with her it was great, it was just so nice to see her, she’s on great form.

“She’s always got a great sense of humour with me and I’m just making sure that she’s protected and got the right people around her.”

He, however, didn’t clarify who he’s protecting the elderly royal from or if he meant the royal staff or family members, but down the line during the interview, he refused to answer a question regarding whether he missed his father and brother.

He also said that he wasn’t sure he would be attending the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, kicking off in the first week of June, due to security issues.

“So this is what I’m trying to do, trying to make it possible that, you know, I can get my kids to meet her,” Harry added.
