My Big Fat Fabulous Life  – Star Models For Walmart

Ever since TLC aired the first season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, Whitney Way Thore has faced trolling. Some mocked her size. And others criticized her relationships. For instance, in the most recent season, the mystery of that French boyfriend caused some to wonder if it constituted a fake romance.

But after surviving nine seasons of My Big Fat Fabulous Life haters, Whitney just sparked her biggest, fattest, and definitely un-fabulous backlash yet for a very different reason. As a result of her decision to model for a just aired Walmart commercial, the reality TV star got a flood of negative comments. And some even complained about having to view the ad on TV!

For instance, some complained specifically about how many times the commercial aired while they watched “90 Day Fiance.” As one fan wrote on Twitter, “I did not have Whitney Way Thore getting a Walmart ad on my bingo card!” But beyond feeling as if they suffered from an overdose of Whitney in that Walmart ad, others criticized everything from her hair to her poses to her size. 

My Big Fat Fabulous Life – Star Slammed Over Walmart Ad

Whitney Way Thore got blasted numerous times in Reddit’s My Big Fat Fabulous Life community. For example, one critic wrote, “I thought it was odd that it was shot in her bedroom with a strange picnic basket and to have her laying on the floor eating alone was a weird choice. I would have liked to see her wearing the clothes out and about somewhere. That would have made more sense.”

But others pointed out that the Walmart commercial reflected Whitney’s actual life. As a result of Thore confessing that she leaves her house only to film, another fan slammed the reality TV star for faking her supposedly fabulous life. “She lives in her bedroom, but fantasizes and talks BIG about her ‘fabulous life,'” noted the viewer.

Some trolled the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star’s size and hair. “She seems so much..bigger in this commercial. Also what is up with her hairline coming back almost past the crest of her forehead?” asked another fan. And one connected her hair issues and overall appearance to her obesity.

“I know I’m not the only one here who is bewildered,” wrote another My Big Fat Fabulous Life viewer. “I maintain that she wasn’t ugly in the first few seasons, just obese. The only thing I can think of is that her outside appearance has finally began to reflect her insides.” 

Other commentators mocked Whitney’s “obvious chin thinning and receding hair line.” And one called her head and neck like a “lollipop stick” perched on the rest of her body. “I think her hair line is due to a lack of nutrition,” added the critic.
