But now, as the 55-year-old awaits the sentencing hearing on Josh’s child porn guilty verdicts, a special event lured her to resurface.

19 Kids And Counting” – Michelle Duggar Wows In Surprise Social Media Sighting

When “19 Kids And Counting” first began on TLC, patriarch Jim Bob and matriarch Michelle Duggar encouraged all their kids to grow up and enjoy marriages just like their own. And now, one of their sons has followed in his parents’ footsteps. As a result, Michelle surprised social media followers by showing up at his future wife’s bridal shower, reported the Sun.

Even though Michelle reportedly struggles with mixed emotions over her son Josh’s child porn guilty verdict, the excitement of her son Jeremiah getting married lured her to emerge. As a result, the Duggar matriarch joined other family and friends at her future daughter-in-law Hannah Wissman’s bridal shower. And the photos showed her joy.

Hannah, 26, and Jeremiah, 23, reportedly will tie the knot next month. And the bridal shower emphasized Hannah’s excitement at becoming a future member of the Duggar family. “Some days make me pause, look around and realize just how completely blessed I am!!! My sisters put on such a beautiful shower Sunday afternoon. I felt so loved and encouraged by all of the family, soon-to-be family, and friends that came!!” gushed Hannah.

19 Kids And Counting” – What Does The Future Hold For Michelle Duggar?

In December, Josh Duggar faced guilty verdicts of both possessing and receiving child pornography. And now, Michelle Duggar’s oldest son sits behind bars as he awaits his April sentencing trial. But the delay means challenges for Josh’s mother as well. 

For instance, Josh could face up to 20 years behind bars for each guilty verdict. And that raises the question of how Michelle and her husband Jim Bob will help Josh’s wife Anna Duggar. Anna, who has seven children with Josh, may need both financial and emotional support in the wake of Josh’s final sentencing.

Insiders revealed that the trial showed incriminating evidence from Josh’s computer. For instance, just one folder showed 65 thumbnail files featuring an underage girl. As a result of that and other evidence, Josh landed in solitary confinement. He now waits there for his April trial. 

For Michelle, the weeks ahead may take her from highs (Jeremiah’s wedding day!) to lows (Josh’s sentencing trial). But as the “Counting On” queen told E News after Josh’s guilty verdict, “God’s grace, through the love and prayers of so many, has sustained us. Our hearts and prayers are with anyone who has ever been harmed through CSAM [Child Sexual Abuse Material].” And she promised, “In the days ahead, we will do all we can to surround our daughter-in-law Anna and their children with love and support.”
