Lori Loughlin Continues College Admissions Scandal Comeback In Olivia Jade's Video!Lori Loughlin, famed as Aunt Becky in “Full House,” became infamous as a result of the college admissions bribery scandal. But since serving two months in prison, Lori gradually started her comeback. And her most recent attempt at resuming her life after the scandal involved one of her daughters who got caught up in the backlash.

Let them eat cake! Olivia Jade Giannulli unveiled a new YouTube video this week featuring the 22-year-old stirring up a coffee cake. But the video also contained a surprise cameo from her mother Lori Loughlin, 57, reported Us magazine.

In addition to working out as part of her video, Olivia visited with her mother via FaceTime. And she invited Lori to greet her fans. “Say, ‘Hey!’” Jade instructed her mother. Obediently, Loughlin waved and responded.

And then Olivia showed her potential talent as an actress. In a fake British accent, the YouTube star commented of her mother, “Cutie pie! She’s a cutie pie. I want to eat her because she’s so cute.” Lori played the game with her daughter, responding, “Hey, cutie!” But behind the scenes, the memory of the college admissions scandal lingers. And Olivia has discussed what her parents did. 

College Admissions Scandal ‘Really Bad,’ Admits Olivia Jade!

Together with her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, Lori also parents daughter Bella, 23. But Olivia received more of the spotlight during Loughlin’s college admissions scandal. Both Lori and her husband, 59, pleaded guilty to the charges of fraud. As a result of the investigation, Olivia’s parents faced accusations of bribing college officials to get both Bella and Olivia admitted to the University of Southern California.

Mossimo served five months in prison and got hit with a $250,000 fine. And his wife spent two months behind bars, facing a $150,000 fine. In the wake of the scandal, Olivia called her parents’ actions “really bad.” But she also pointed out that they love their daughters. “I think what a lot of people don’t know is my parents came from a place of just, ‘I love my kids, I just want to help my kids — whatever is best for them — [and] I worked my whole life to provide for my family.’ I think they thought it was normal,” explained Jade.

However, Olivia also shared that her parents apologized to her after a painful confrontation.  “I know they’re good people,” summed up Jade. And she shared that she refuses to judge them for their “mistake. Although it’s a big one, they’re gonna pay the price for it. … I know that they’ve struggled.”
