Chrisley Family News – Emotions Too High For Holiday Spirit
Chrisley Family news reveals that, according to Us Weekly, Lindsie is keeping at a distance. She’s revealed that she and her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, will be spending the holiday season apart.
Keeping her distance – Lindsie Chrisley revealed that she and her parents, Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, are spending the holiday season apart following their prison sentence. “With my parents’ sentencing just being a couple of days before Thanksgiving and me having Jackson for Thanksgiving, emotions were very high at that point,” Lindsie, 33, said during the Wednesday, December 14, episode of her podcast, The Southern Tea.
“I just didn’t feel it was in the best interest of Jackson for him to go and see my parents in any state that they normally aren’t if that makes sense.”
Chrisley Family News – Todd And Julie Chrisley Need Time To Process
Todd and Julie Chrisley, 53 and 49, were sentenced to 12 and seven years in Federal prison, respectively (via The New York Times). The sentence was handed down on November 21 following their conviction for bank and wire fraud, and tax evasion in June. Word has it, they’ve already begun the appeal process (via CBS).
Also convicted was the Chrisley Knows Best stars’ former assistant, Peter Tarantino. He was sentenced to 36 months in the slammer for his role in the fraud. Lindsie Chrisley is the daughter of Todd Chrisley and his former wife Teresa Terry. She explained during her podcast that Todd and Julie “needed time to process” the latest developments in their case.
She said that while she “struggled with giving up” the holidays with Todd and Julie, she “wanted to be able to give them that time.” Todd shares three children with Julie, Chase, 26, Savannah, 25, and Grayson, 16. Besides Lindsie, with his ex, Todd also shares a son, Kyle, 31
Chrisley Family News – Jackson Cambell Also Influenced the Decision
Lindsie’s 10-year-old son Jackson Campbell, 10, whom she shares with her former husband, William Campbell, influenced her decision. “Jackson wakes up, it’s like a tornado comes through the house, from the time that he literally wakes up until the time that he goes to bed,” she said of her son.
“And so, with that kind of energy going on, and then you know, just not so great news that just wasn’t a good combination in my opinion, so I had to make a hard decision as a mom and absolutely hate it.”
