Kate Middleton’s Glamorous Gala Gown Paid Homage To Princess Diana

The royal news and updates reveal that Kate Middleton’s latest gala gown paid homage to the late Prince Diana in a glamorous way.

Prince William and Kate have gone on an eight-day tour of the Caribbean. During their sixth day, the royal couple attended a state dinner that was hosted by Sir Patric Allen, the Governor General of Jamaica.

Kate Middleton’s Stunning Emerald Green Gown

All eyes were on the Duchess of Cambridge when she showed up donning a stunning emerald green gown, which was similar to the gown worn by Princess Diana during her official engagement portraits in 1981. Graham Wren designed Princess Diana’s look for Nettie Vogues,

On Wednesday, Kate wore a green gown, which was a bespoke dress that was designed by Jenny Packham. She was accessorized with a bracelet and matching earrings that were on loan from the Queen. She also had her insignias pinned to her gown, which include her Royal Family Order and her Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

The next day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a special military parade for service members from different parts of the Caribbean who finished the Caribbean Military Academy’s Officer Training Program.

Kate and Prince William were well received when they visited Belize and Jamaica. However, they also encountered some backlash.

Some people in Belize conducted anti-colonial protests, which forced the royal couple to cancel one of their first outings. In Jamaica, Kate and Prince William heard some people’s call for reparation and for the Queen to be dropped as Jamaica’s head of state. Bahamas National Reparations Committee (BNRC) also released a letter that said, “The time is now for reparations.”

Prince William Gave A Speech At Dinner At King’s House.

“I want to express my profound sorrow. Slavery was abhorrent. And it should never have happened,” he said.
