Kate Middleton and Prince William Scheduled To Visit America

The Royals news and updates tease that Kate Middleton and Prince William will soon head over to the U.S. The royal couple will bring the Duke of Cambridge’s Earthshot Prize to America later this year.

The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge’s official account on Twitter made the announcement.

“The @EarthshotPrize is back and this year, we’re heading to Boston! Five more winners. Game-changing solutions. More potential to save our planet. Boston, we’ll see you in December #EarthshotBoston2022,” per the tweet.

The Earthshot Prize was founded by Prince William. This cause aims to find innovative ways to reduce the threat and reverse the effects of climate change. In 2021, the Duke of Cambridge awarded prizes to participants who showed passion and ingenuity to help the planet.

The Royal Couple’s Trip To America

Kate and Prince William’s upcoming trip to America late this year will be the third time they’ll visit the country as a couple.

The couple’s first travel to the U.S. took place a few months after they got married. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited California after touring Canada. In July 8, 2011, the royal couple attended Variety’s Venture Capital and New Media Summit, which took place at The Beverly Hills Hilton hotel. The conference discussed how U.K. innovation is on the path toward competing with Silicon Valley.

Then Prince William participated in a charity match at Santa Barbara Polo Club. They also attended a BAFTA Reception at the Belasco Theatre. These were only a few of the engagements they went to during that time.

The royal couple returned to the country for a winter visit in December 2014. They attended a Brooklyn Nets game, met with Hillary Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, and visited the Northside Center for Child Development.

Royal Couple Shares Photo of Prince George

Prince William and Kate shared a photo of Prince George ahead of the latter’s 9th birthday. Some people have noted that the young royal looks much like his father in his picture.

The photo was taken earlier this month in the U.K. Kate was the one behind the camera since she’s become the unofficial royal photographer in the past few years. She even took photos of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in the past.
