Joy-Anna Duggar Faces High-Risk Pregnancy Issues

Duggar Family News reveals that Joy-Anna Duggar has recently announced that she is facing some high-risk medical issues during her pregnancy. Of course, this is Joy-Anna’s third baby, fans know that she lost a child before this pregnancy. Joy-Anna has once again offered fans the chance to follow along as her pregnancy progresses.

Joy-Anna Duggar’s – Most Recent Health Update

Duggar Family Spoilers reveal that Joy-Anna offered a video health update on November 4. The video documented her and Austin Forsyth’s recent visit with her doctor. Duggar, like many other women, has revealed that she is at high risk for blood clots which can be very dangerous to herself and her child. Of course, the Duggars have always been close to the Bates family who have several women that suffer the same issues. Perhaps Joy-Anna could find some support there.

Duggar reveals that she got to see the baby by ultrasound exam and everything looked fine. Of course, seeing the baby is a blessing and very encouraging. However, that does not take the fear that something could happen to her or her child away. Duggar reveals that she tested positive for GHFR, but she has two strands instead of one.

Duggar Family News – What Does This Mean For The Rest Of The Pregnancy?

Joy-Anna says, “And so it puts me more at high risk for blood clots and so I am now going to have to start doing shots daily which is kind of crazy because my best friend has to do that in pregnancy as well, So I’m going to have to do shots daily, take blood thinners, a lot more vitamins, and then deliver early as well. Not really sure. I’m gonna meet with the high-risk doctor … next appointment, but this is all a huge surprise. Thankfully baby is still healthy.”

This news comes not even a month after Joy-Anna and Austin announced that they were expecting a third baby. The couple has two children Gideon Forsyth who is 4 and Evelyn Mae Forsyth who is 2.

Duggar and Forsyth were married in 2017, the couple met at church years ago and were friends for 15 years before beginning a courtship. Joy-Anna is the ninth child of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar. Joy-Anna is the couple’s fifth daughter.

Joy-Anna appeared in both 19 Kids And Counting and Counting On. The Duggar family has certainly had its share of controversy, especially with Josh Duggar. However, the girls have tried to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible during that whole ordeal. Hopefully, Joy-Anna’s pregnancy will stay drama free and this new baby will arrive safe and sound with no complications.
