Josh Duggar Appeal Delayed – How Is Anna Coping?

Josh Duggar sits in prison at the moment but he hasn’t given up his fight and he appeals through his legal team. In the meantime, Anna, a mom of seven kids has to cope with her future without a husband and dad to her seven kids. Actually, that is a heck of a scenario for someone who believed that God would always provide if she toed the line. Will she hang on for the next 10 years still clinging to the hope that he’s innocent of downloading child porn?

Josh Duggar In Prison – Anna Stands By Him

Jim Bob’s oldest son will only serve about 10 years of his 12-and-a-half-year sentence for downloading child porn. While that seems like a light sentence given the abuse of the kids involved, it must feel like a lifetime for Anna.TLC fans constantly beg her to divorce him, and yet, she resolutely claims that she feels he’s innocent and they remain happily married. Given his sexual molestation of his sister, fans can’t believe that she cannot entertain the idea that he has any devious inclinations.

The fact that Anna remains with Josh Duggar exasperates her cousin, Amy King, who has been quite vocal about it on social media. However, it seems that nobody can say anything to shake Anna’s belief that her husband is pure as the driven snow. Meanwhile, fans of Counting On and 19 Kids and Counting think that she fools herself and should rather consider her kids.

Josh Duggar – Appeal & A Visitor

Katie Joy of Without A Crystal Ball updated about the situation on September 9 on YouTube. According to documents she obtained, Joihs has appealed for a third time for delays while his legal team gets their act together. Apparently, because of the “complexity” of the case, they want to delay his Monday motion to appeal. It isn’t opposed and isn’t seen as deliberate delaying tactics as there are so many volumes of evidence to go through.

Josh Duggar did meet with his attorneys, but apparently, it’s all very slow and takes just about forever for that to happen. It isn’t clear if any family visited him yet, but at least he got to chat with his defense team. And if Anna saw him, she isn’t saying anything at the moment. Actually, she seems to have taken a big social media hiatus, which might not be a bad thing.

With Josh Duggar in prison, it must be evident that she’s making a lot of adjustments to the situation. Actually, followers leave her on social media, and sympathy seems lacking. However, in the comments of Without A Crytal Ball’s post, some people express very mixed emotions. Bear in mind, that she “comes from a world” where divorce isn’t an option, and forgiveness is everything.

One fan subscriber wrote, “She’s just starting the process of living a new life and coming to terms with the whole situation. I would say it might be a year or two, maybe more before we see any changes from her. The grieving process is not going to move fast.”
