Josh Duggar Insider Reveals What ’19 Kids And Counting’ Clan Kept Secret For Years!

Viewers of “19 Kids And Counting” felt shocked when news broke that Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar’s oldest son, Josh Duggar, had allegedly molested several underage girls, including some of his sisters. But although TLC quickly cancelled the show, Josh’s scandal history had just begun. As a result, some Duggar family followers suspected that more would become revealed. And that’s just what happened, with Josh facing allegations of everything from cheating on his wife Anna Duggar to child pornography.

Josh Duggar – Insider Recalls ‘Weird Things’!

Ever since TLC cancelled first “19 Kids And Counting” and then its spin-off, “Counting On,” Duggar family followers have looked for information about the family. And now an insider feels ready to spill. Talking with Distractify, former family friend Bowman shared what he and his relatives learned about the reality TV clan. 

For example, Bowman recalls Josh getting sent to a Christian training camp, the ALERT Academy. And although the reality TV show only mentioned that getaway, Bowman says it happened repeatedly. “When we first met the Duggars, I think I was 8, maybe 7, Josh wasn’t there,” recalled Bowman.

“I think that was probably the first time he had gotten sent away. There was a month-long period where we were hanging out with the Duggars and hadn’t met Josh yet, just heard about him. And then there were all these different weird things that happened throughout the years,” added the former family friends.

Duggar Family – Tries To Hide Josh Duggar’s Problems?!

Although never shown on the family’s reality TV show, Josh Duggar got sent away about three times, according to Bowman. And he suspects that the Duggars hid the real reasons for trying to get Josh to the supposed safety of that Christian training camp. For example, did matriarch Michelle and patriarch Jim Bob Duggar fear that the cameras would catch Josh’s alleged molestation?!

“Growing up, they never talked about it,” recalled Bowman with regard to what Josh did. “I mean, it was always kind of hush-hush, and there were some people that knew about it the whole time. I think my parents knew about it.”

Recalling what happened when the news spread that Josh Duggar had allegedly molested under-age girls as a teenager, Bowman shared that the Duggars described Josh’s actions as “struggling.” And even though Jim Bob Duggar finally did address the allegations, he tried to cover up for his son. “He said he was just curious about girls and he had gone in and just basically touched them over their clothes while they were sleeping; they didn’t even know he had done it,” insisted Jim Bob.

In the years since, Josh’s so-called struggles have increasingly proved impossible to hide. And recently, Josh received guilty verdicts for child pornography.
