Derick and Jill both have spoken out against Jim Bob Duggar and Derick even did so on a public page when he was running for office. Jill and her sisters filed a lawsuit against the city after their molestation records were released to the public. This was during the time period when their brother, Josh Duggar, sexually molested them while they were sleeping. They ended up not winning this case, but there are sealed records of their statements and some have leaked.
Jill made the statement that Jim Bob is controlling and that she is still concerned about how he treats her mother, Michelle Duggar. Jill and Derick continue to limit their interactions with her parents because of their feelings about Jim Bob. They have made it crystal clear that they do not want anything to do with him.
Not only have these documents been leaked, there are other changes for Jill and Derick as well. They have just announced that they are moving out of their home in Lowell, Arkansas. They have not shared where they are planning on moving, but Derick has accepted a job offer so that is why they are moving. Of course, there are rumors everywhere about this move, but no one can know for sure where they will go.
Derick recently passed the bar exam and this new job is a huge opportunity for them and their young family. We wish them all of the luck and success in this new venture.
