When Jessa Duggar opened up about heavy topics concerning her depression, fans showed their sympathy for the actress.

Jessa Duggar shared on her recent Instagram story a screenshot of her confession video entitled “My Journey from Doubt and Depression to Grace.” She also captioned the said IG story with “What Jesus did for me He can do for you too.”

One follower took a screenshot of Jessa Duggar’s IG story and posted it on Reddit and said, “Ugh. This is such an unhealthy way to deal with mental health, Blessa”

A fan expressed her sympathy and commented how Jessa’s story breaks her heart. “I’ve been watching the early specials and I wanna steer far away from being an armchair psychologist,” The said viewer also mentioned how she can relate to Jessa when she recognized herself as a “depressed child.”

On the other hand, one of Duggar’s snarkers said that Jessa should stop suppressing her feelings and pretending like everything is going better as she was so traumatized from her “abusive parents”. The commenter also mentioned that what Jessa needs is to “see a therapist and get to the bottom of this.”

While one concerned viewer said, “You are most likely pushing down your trauma and making it worse in the future. Just see a therapist. It won’t hurt.”

Jessa Seewald’s video confession was initially uploaded in August 2020 on her YouTube channel. The reality star stated in her video introduction, “When I was young, I ‘prayed the prayer’ and ‘asked Jesus into my heart,’ but I wasn’t truly converted. In this video, I open up about my spiritual journey,”

“After years of struggling with doubts and depression, I came to truly understand the glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the story of God’s grace in my life. I pray you find encouragement as you listen,” she continued.
