Jessa Duggar Denies Getting Brainwashed By Parents

Counting On news and updates tease that Jess Duggar denied claims that her parents brainwashed her. She continues to be faithful to her parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, despite all the scandals their family has to face.

Even before Josh’s recent conviction, Jessa had reasons to turn her back from her family. It’s been revealed that Josh molested four of her sisters when they were younger and their parents didn’t do anything to address that serious problem. But Jessa chose to support her parents, nevertheless.

Jessa clapped back when a fan suggest that she was pressured to remain loyal to her father. Jessa posted a photo of her father holding Fern, her daughter who recently celebrated her first birthday. Fern and Jim Bob share the same birthdate.

In a social media post, Jessa wrote, “Had a wonderful time yesterday celebrating these birthday buddies! Love them both dearly!”

Some fans were unhappy to see Jim Bob with Jessa and her daughter. One fan commented, “Blink twice if your parents are making you write these posts.”

Jessa fired back at one hater and said that she loves and appreciates her parents. She admits her own flaws just like her parents and they prefer to extend grace to one another. Not only that, she revealed that she has a “wonderful relationship” with her parents. She went on to say that people who can’t handle that can just “move along.”

Some people liked her comment but there were still those who called her out. Some noted that Jessa’s parents preferred to protect Josh even if they knew what he did to his sisters. They said they’re not “flaws” but reasons to stay away from them.

Jessa also responded to fans who spread rumors that Michelle Duggar didn’t attend Jill Duggar’s baby shower because of their long-standing feud. Jessa responded and asked her followers to quit spreading hate. She also noted that Jill has always supported her family and the feud that they’re referring to isn’t true.

She also called out people who assume that there’s always a negative motive to everything that her family is doing or not doing. Jessa will continue to defend her parents, especially from claims that paint them in a bad light.
