Jed And Katey Duggar Share Their Love Story

Duggar family news reveals that Jed and Katey Duggar are ready to open up more about their love story. The couple has been married for about a year and they haven’t really told their fans too much about their love story. Of course, fans are curious as to how they met, what courting was like, and when they fell in love.

Duggar Family News – Their True Love Story

Katey and Jed took to social media to explain their love story to their followers. They shared a video on YouTube so that they could break it down. They first met one another in April of 2019. Jed was handing out flyers for an event. She was pretty sad that she couldn’t go because, at the time, she was working at a prison ministry in Florida. She told viewers, “So, fast forward to February of 2020, literally weeks before COVID affected the world.” She had moved back to Arizona and was working in a prison there. “I had no clue Jed was going to be there. I knew a lot of the people that did the prison trips, but we had never been there at the same time before.”

Jed said that he would joke around with her at first and flirt and he wanted to be funny around her. He said that she was “sassy” and he really liked that about her. That was when he knew that they had to get to know one another.

Duggar Family News – Long Distance Love

The two of them were living in different states at the time and Jed was pretty bummed when they were no longer working together. He couldn’t stop thinking about her. He said he prayed for them to be able to see each other again. In May of 2020, Jed had a chance to go to Arizona with his dad and they actually stayed at Katey’s house. Jed stayed in touch with her father and that was it for them.

They started dating in August of 2020 and they would video chat every day and visit once a month. About six months later, he knew he was in love. On Valentine’s Day of 2021, he proposed and they were married on April 3, 2021. Jed told fans, “For us, it was the most special thing saving our first kiss and I still remember that first kiss, and I’ll remember it for the rest of our lives.”
