Is Sister Wives Really Delivering Anything Worth Watching?

Sister Wives Season 17 seems to have good ratings, and certainly, it generates a lot of discussion amongst fans. But is the show delivering anything that fans don’t know already? A lot of spoilers came out ahead of the TLC show’s premiere. And, the same thing happened in the previous season. That came when Christine and Kody both declared their separation on social media before the show started.

Sister Wives – Season 17 Brings Rehashed Old News

In the current season, fans see that Kody seems narcissistic and abusive toward his wives. Additionally, he clashed with the kids again. Nothing new to see there. Furthermore, the show goes back to the covid quarantines, which TLC managed to make many meals out of. It’s just a shocker that it hasn’t revisited  Meri’s catfishing incident — at least not yet. Furthermore, fans see that Meri still seems to hope that her husband will acknowledge that she exits. Of course, Sobbin’ Robyn tries unsuccessfully to squeeze out more tears.

Sister Wives spoilers rveeld that Kody wasn’t kosher with Janelle moving into the RV. Robyn’s kids dissed it, Kody wanted more romping space, and Janelle wanted some independence. Well, the RV story had been around for some time on social media. Once again, fans also saw that Christine dumped her ex-husband’s stuff in the garage before she left him. So, looking at the basic facts without all the trimmings, is it worth watching a bunch of old spoilers?

Sister Wives – Rehash – What Have We Learned In Season 17?

On the TLCSisterWives subreddit, folks were talking about Christine and how it might not only be Kody who was “abusive.” Robyn and Meri might as well also admit to that, u//the_shy_one1 opined. In the discussion that followed, folks talked about Robyn who is forever crying. Then they touched on how Robynb seems angry with Christine who is destroying what she personally wanted for herself. Next,u/ Competitive_Basil136 noted that we didn’t really learn anything really new. 

The Sister Wives viewer seems right on point by noting that viewers who don’t read the spoilers only really learned that “Christine owned the house and signed over CP to Kody.” Actually, those spoilers have been around in the tabloids for a while. The user also talked about Mykleti and her birth. However, fans already knew about the baby, and Mykelti already teased that she was filming.

 Sister Wives – The RV Is Ancient News

Sister Wives fans who follow Janelle know a lot about the RV and they watched as she lived in it before returning to a rental in town. And let’s face it, “We already knew Christine moved to Utah and Ysabel moved to NC.” The Redditor argued, “I can’t believe TLC has put on eight episodes of jumbled storylines and all we have learned…” is what has been pointed out above. And, a lot of that is old news anyway.
