General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) life has done a complete 180 in the last few months. She was so eager to finish nursing school and start tending to patients, but now she’s one of them. She was thrilled when she and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) won their case against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) — restricting her ability to be in their son’s life, and then he lost one of his grandmother’s, and Willow simultaneously lost the only mother she had ever known.
At the time of Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) death, Willow was barely hanging on after such a traumatic and unexpected loss. Further, she was shocked to find out Harmony wasn’t her birth mother. However, she didn’t have any interest in figuring out who it was. In fact, she told Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) she was sure it would end up being someone like Nina and that just further convinced her there was no reason to go looking for the woman who gave birth to her. For Willow, all that mattered was the mother who raised her. Until now.
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Tait Looks To The Past
Willow was born on a commune and raised there for many years. Harmony was always following a new program or cult, and while she was certain her mom thought she was doing what was best for them, Willow now knows her upbringing was anything but normal. Still, she has fond memories of her childhood for the most part, and things didn’t get messy until she was legally an adult. So when Willow decides she needs to track down her birth parents — for the sake of finding a bone marrow donor match — she’s going to default to thinking the commune where she was born will be the smartest starting point.
GH Spoilers – Indicate Drew Cain Will Lend A Hand
Michael and Willow have agreed not to tell their family about her leukemia diagnosis just yet. For the time being, they’re going to let everyone in on her search for her birth parents, but they might credit it to Willow’s interest in her personal health history now that she is becoming a mother again. No one is likely to question this, even though it will leave Carly feeling unsettled. On the other hand, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will be the first person to raise their hand in support of Willow, and he will offer to lend his time and resources to helping her find her family.
General Hospital Spoilers — Carly Corinthos Can’t Say No
Carly isn’t going to love that Drew has jumped at the chance to reunite Willow with her birth parents. However, Drew has no idea that Carly already knows Nina is Willow’s birth mother. He knew Harmony made that claim, but Carly told him the DNA test she did was negative and left Drew thinking Harmony made up a lie on her death bed at the last minute. Carly knows if she shows any semblance of hesitancy or nervousness, Drew might come back around and question her again. The last thing she wants to do is tell him she lied to him. How will Carly make sure this doesn’t blow up in her face? She’s going to have to lend a hand as well so she might have a shot at steering the search away from Nina’s direction.
