GH Spoilers: Why Does Cody Want What’s in Peter’s Box of Belongings?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates reveals as Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) grows closer to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), she’s come to have a certain amount of respect for him she never saw coming before. Certainly, they didn’t start out on the best foot, but having come clean to one another about their similarities recently has helped meld them into a weird friendship. For the time being, Britt has been a pretty solid supporter of Cody finding out where he came from. In return, Cody has been supportive of Britt as she once again approaches the idea of going through Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) belongings.

General Hospital Spoilers — Cody’s Interest in Faison Ratchets Up

It seems at every encounter with Britt, Cody is inquiring about her past and connections to her father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). His interest in Faison has only intensified the closer he’s grown to Britt, and no one knows why — least of all her. Is it possible Cody has a past connection to Faison as well? Did he work for Cesar or Peter? Is he hoping to keep that a secret, or might he be concerned there’s something in that box that he needs to carry out plans he had started with them?

GH Spoilers Indicate Britt is Over it

Cody sure does seem charming on the surface, but so did Peter once upon a time. Remember when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had to plead with everyone she knew to accept Peter as the good man she knew he was? Yeah, about that…If Cody is a good guy, we’ll know in due time. For now, Britt has her guard up, and for good reason. So far, Cody has only shown her that he will lie to manipulate her (recall that bit about wanting and not wanting kids), and he will ghost her when the going gets tough. Sheesh! We may not know Cody’s whole story yet, but he sure is no Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Is Britt going to be over Cody before she’s ever under him?

General Hospital Spoilers — What’s Lurking in the Box

There could be evidence of Cody or Dante’s past crimes in that box. It could also house information that lets everyone know Cody knew Peter and/or Faison before he came to Port Charles, which would really throw a wrench in his plans with Britt. Of course, if he was only trying to get close to Britt to get his hands on the box, that may not matter to him.

Rumors are swirling that the box will contain a letter from Peter about how he planned to stage his death and run off to Europe to live a life away from them all — up until he tires of that, of course.
