GH Spoilers: What Has Happened To Carly Corinthos?

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has completely reinvented herself. Carly and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been together for the bigger part of 22 years. Suddenly, Carly wants to change her last name and start anew. What happened to Carly and who is this woman we have seen emerge?

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Corinthos Isn’t A Part Of Sonny Corinthos’ World Anymore

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly is no longer a part of Sonny’s world. After losing her half of the Metrocourt in a bad investment deal, Carly was ready to go to a seminar and try to get her life back on track. Carly honestly didn’t know who she was without Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in her life. Carly had been in the mob life for so long that she took over the business when Sonny disappeared.

Carly was very attracted to Jason’s brother, Drew Cain. However, Carly put the brakes on their budding romance and decided to go to a seminar to figure out how to get her life back on track. Unfortunately, Carly’s plan was detoured. Carly ended up in Jacksonville Florida where she grew up instead. Of course, Carly was drawn into the fight to save the cemetery where her adoptive mother was buried while there.

GH Spoilers – Drew Cain Followed Carly Corinthos

Drew tried to call Carly for days before figuring out that she was stuck in Jacksonville. Drew then taped a video of the children and ran straight for Carly. Carly was very surprised when Drew arrived but invited him to stay with her. Drew even helped Carly try to save the cemetery. Unfortunately, they got shot down and Carly chose to have her mother cremated instead so she could scatter her ashes at the beach.

Now Carly and Drew have decided to give this a try but, Drew wants no part of the mob life and never has. Now Carly and Drew can forge a relationship without any of her mob ties interfering. Can Carly truly break ties with Sonny or is this a temporary reprieve? Fans are honestly wondering if Carly has brain damage from the way she is acting. Could Carly be in a coma or something?

One thing is for sure, Carly is not herself right now and fans have to wonder why. Is Carly dreaming of all of this change? Could Carly be fantasizing about Drew? What in the world has happened to Carly? Carly is acting just as off as Sonny was in Nixon Falls.
