GH Spoilers Wednesday, October 19: Amends, Accusations, And Attackers

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, October 19 tease amends, accusations and questions about attackers. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wants to make amends, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) asks about an accusation and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) asks about an attacker.

General Hospital Spoilers – Glad To See Someone

At GH, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is obviously glad to see someone as he tells them they’re a sight for sore eyes. He’ll pay Diane a visit and connect with her so perhaps he sees her being taken out of her room for a wheelchair ride. She doesn’t look quite ready to face the world outside just yet as she’s still recovering from her near fatal attack by “The Hook”.

Still, whether it’s Diane he encounters or not with that cheery greeting, he’s very glad to see them. Robert hasn’t looked this happy in ages so it’s someone special.

GH Spoilers – A Denial

At Wyndemere, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) has just come from the Metro Court where Victor told her Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) wants a divorce. Ava had told him she heard he’s keeping secrets from her again, and now he’s denying it. He tells her nothing could be further from the truth – at least, concerning secrets about wanting a divorce from her. He’s still got a very much alive and pregnant Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) locked up in the North Tower, which he’s not having repaired until further notice.

General Hospital Spoilers – Making Amends

Meanwhile, at Pentonville, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wants to make amends, and he sees Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) as the way to do it. Cyrus is Spencer’s grandmother Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) half-brother so helping her grandson, his half great-nephew makes sense, as he explains to a rather scruffy looking Spencer. Spencer may not want to take Cyrus’ help inside Pentonville but he’s already saved him from the former librarian who wanted to take him out with a book to the head.

Cyrus seems to be more protective of Spencer than anyone either Victor or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has on the inside. It would probably be best that Spencer accepts Cyrus’ deal to help him, even if it’s to get his grandmother’s favor.

GH Spoilers – Accusations Made?

At Pier 47, where Victor had his goon Johann Bauer (Max Decker) make sure Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) went instead of Pier 55, he seems shocked at an accusation. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna were worried Victor was sending Valentin to his death, rather than to visit his daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain). Anna is making an accusation about something, and Victor asks if she’s accusing Valentin; might she have found a severely injured or worse Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring)? Is Victor trying to set up Valentin for the hit, which was probably done by his spy Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos’ Need

Elsewhere, Sonny talks to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and tells him he needs a lieutenant he can trust. That sounds like Sonny is referring to an enforcer, a replacement for the late Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). If so, that is the job that Dex has been gunning for since he was placed in Sonny’s arena as a plant by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

Is Sonny telling him he’s passed the test, or might he be telling him he needs someone he can trust, and he doesn’t trust Dex? Dex has perhaps tried a little too hard sometimes but he passed the “I’m not the Hook” test.

GH Spoilers – Attacker Questions

Back at the hospital, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) looks sad as she talks to Diane, who is sitting up but still in her hospital bed. Diane asks Alexis if it was her fear that made her goad her attacker? Diane is obviously talking about the “Jack The Ripper” idea Alexis had for drawing out the “Hook” by trying to get her to write to “The Invader”. Obviously, Diane is considering Alexis’ idea to be more like poking the bear than solving the case. Alexis also has amends to make with her daughter Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) in this episode.
