GH Spoilers Wednesday, December 28: Mysteries Deepen, Family Warning, Trust Betrayed

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Wednesday, December 28 tease mysteries deepen, family warned and trust betrayed! A mystery deepens for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine, (James Patrick Stuart) Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) issues a family related warning, and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) apologizes for betraying trust.

General Hospital Spoilers – Mysteries Deepen

The mystery deepens for Valentin and Anna as they are still overseas trying to track down Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and rescue her, which will be needed to exonerate Anna. They are sitting and talking to someone in an office, sitting facing them across a desk, the person having a vase with white tulips; they may still be in Amsterdam. They are following the trail as best as they can determine, since Victor has compounds all over the world where he could be hiding Lucy.

Anna tells the person across the desk that any help they could give would be appreciated. It certainly looks like they are going to need all the help they can get.

GH Spoilers – Blessed

At Pentonville, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) looks oddly at brother Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) who is lifting his hands towards heaven and declaring the Lord has truly blessed him. It can be a blessing for a prison inmate to get a visit from a family member at Christmastime, that is no doubt, but Martin looks at him suspiciously. He must be thinking is this black sheep of the family Cyrus or is it Elmer Gantry, what’s he got up his sleeve now? Martin isn’t the only family visitor that Cyrus will get though, and she’ll be just as suspicious.

At Wyndemere Castle, Victor is upset with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and wants to know why he isn’t fighting for his relationship with his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez)? Spencer has sought to distance himself recently from any and all things Cassadine, even though his continued parole depends on Victor supervising him. There is definitely a rift between father and son, and Victor knows what that is, never having been close to his own son.

Victor’s warning might be if he doesn’t fix this now with Spencer, he may lose him forever. But Cassadines have very strange relationships with their sons, if you’re going by Victor’s with Valentin.

GH Spoilers – Dinner Invite?

Meanwhile, in the north tower where Nikolas has entrapped an increasingly pregnant Esmé Prince, (Avery Kristen Pohl) she delivers an invitation. She smiles and asks if there is any way someone could join her for dinner? She may be talking to the friendly Cassadine guard, Demetrius (Ari Kappatos). She knows that Demetrius likes her so she’s going to try to manipulate him into letting her out of her prison.

General Hospital Spoilers – Suspicions

Back at Pentonville, Cyrus’ other sibling Laura Collins (Genie Francis) laughs as Cyrus offers to help her with something. She says that sounds more like a threat. Cyrus would love to help her take down Victor, because he didn’t like Spencer trusting Victor more than he trusted him.

If Cyrus is making a threat it’s towards the Cassadine patriarch, not his little half-sister. But Laura will always be suspicious because she just doesn’t trust Cyrus.

GH Spoilers – Difficult Apology

It looks like Spencer might be at Kelly’s as he tries to apologize to Ava Jerome (Maura West) but she’s not letting him get a word in edgewise. He tells Ava to shut up because he’s trying to apologize, but perhaps she’s a little surprised. They have had a dysfunctional relationship since he was a little boy and she let him down by not helping him get rid of Valentin. He wanted her to get his Cassadine legacy back but she didn’t have a focus on that back then.

General Hospital Spoilers – Trust Betrayed

As Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) prepares to leave Port Charles with a new identity to deteriorate and die from her Huntingtons’ Disease alone, her mother asks forgiveness. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleeen Gati) has many regrets for her many years chasing Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) instead of being a loving mother to her children. Liesl will make a promise to Britt, but first amends must be made and forgiveness sought.

There is sadness and regret obvious in both their eyes as she admits that she has betrayed Britt’s trust. Liesl knows time is running out, and she wants to make up for lost time.

GH Spoilers – Trina Robinson’s Angry

It looks like Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) may be with Spencer at Kelly’s, and intervening in an argument between him and Ava! She is angry as she gets in her face and says this has to end-meaning the dysfunction and hate between her and Spencer. That’s a strong statement coming from Trina, who has looked up to Ava as a mentor and a second mother but she knows Spencer’s sincere. It’s hard to be stuck in the middle between two people she cares about.
