Carly has a flirtatious question for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) as he’s still cooking at the grill. She seems to be the flirtatious one as she asks Drew if he’s flirting with her. Whether either of them drank from the two glasses Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) put out of the Sicilian Thunderboat is a good question.
That three legged race they won against Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) was pretty physical. Carly and Brook Lynn had both questioned the other one if they had a thing for the two men.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has some sage advice for newly engaged Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) ex wife gives his current fiancée some pointers as she tells her she hopes she won’t make the same mistakes. One biggie was Jordan keeping secrets from Curtis, even though many of them were work related; she overheard Portia on the phone asking about genetic counseling. It’s easy to see Jordan is hinting about Portia keeping secrets from Curtis that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is his daughter.
At the Quartermaine charity picnic, Selina has a warning for Curtis, as she reminds him he’d rather have her as an ally than an adversary. Viewers will remember that Selina got inside information for Curtis about Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) police records in exchange for him letting her hold poker games at The Savoy. It sounds like she might be trying for some more favors from Curtis as he stands against a tree, looking somber.
The last thing he needs is for Selina to decide she’s an adversary and mess things up for him. Everything else is looking up in both his personal life and professional life.
It looks like Portia and Jordan aren’t the only ones with secrets in the extended Robinson/Ashford family. Trina is with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) when he tells her there’s a reason she doesn’t know a lot about him. Trina looks a little worried, considering the bad experiences she’s had with “mystery men”. That, of course would include Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) who kept his identity a secret when they first got acquainted. He’s still keeping secrets from her as well.
Brook Lynn must suspect that Chase got a swig of the Sicilian Thunderbolt, which he did, as she tries to reason with him. He’s admitted his feelings for her but she still has her doubts as she tells him it doesn’t mean that what he’s feeling right now is real. She’s obviously still in denial about her own feelings, having told Carly that Chase is her client and there can’t be anything romantic between them.
Poor Chase is going to give up on love pretty soon if the wheels don’t start turning soon. It’s obvious it wasn’t Brook Lynn who picked up the second glass of Sicilian Thunderbolt.
Sam appears to be having a heart to heart talk with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) for whom the Sicilian Thunderbolt glasses were intended for. It’s hard to tell between Carly and Dante who got the second one although Chase definitely got one of them. Dante has a change of heart and is trying to work things out with Sam, who didn’t want to fix something that wasn’t broken between them. But now, she’s hesitant even more and tells him she doesn’t know if she’ll ever be ready to move forward.
