GH Spoilers: Was That Alex Who Shot Lucy, Or Someone In An Alex Mask?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease there are several valid questions regarding the true identity of Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) shooter. It wasn’t Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) but could it be her presumed dead twin, Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes), or someone in an Anna or Alex mask?

General Hospital Spoilers – Could Victor Cassadine Have Had Her?

As far as Anna knew, she had killed her twin Alex in a struggle aboard the Haunted Star, when she kidnapped a pregnant Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and held her hostage. Alex was shot twice in the stomach by Anna and then she jumped in the water and was never seen again, with her body never found. The shooter assumed by Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) on the drone footage to be Anna shot Lucy twice in the stomach, with Lucy falling into the water.

This seems like an incredible coincidence unless that really was Alex, possibly rescued by one of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) operatives and now dispatched by Victor. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) could also have had someone rescue her even though he didn’t know she was his birth mother but he would have known her as his aunt.

GH Spoilers – Someone With A Mask?

Of course, when talking about a mask it could be of either twin; when Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was still chasing after Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) she had an Anna mask. That mask could still exist somewhere and have been used by the woman who shot Lucy; it’s doubtful it would be Liesl, unless Victor got ahold of her and brainwashed her. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) recently said when asked about Liesl’s whereabouts that she was babysitting her grandchildren, who would be Maxie’s children; only James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca) is biological. No matter who the shooter is, Alex or someone with a mask to look like her or Anna, Anna herself is being framed and Victor’s the one doing it. When Victor found out Lucy was spying on him and feeding information to Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) he ordered the hit.

General Hospital Spoilers – She Didn’t Act Alone

Even though if Alex is Lucy’s shooter and she shot Lucy the same way Anna shot her, it’s doubtful she’s acting alone. Victor had called someone and also ordered a Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) cable car accident type scenario which could have been the fate intended for Valentin. Victor had to keep Anna and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) occupied and out of his way for the next steps in his plan.

Framing Anna for murder by using Alex or someone in a mask to shoot Lucy and releasing Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) to distract Robert was the way to do it. As for Lucy, her body hasn’t been found either – might he have put her in one of his compounds to brainwash her as his operative?
