GH Spoilers: Was Jake Programmed By Helena, Ready To Be Activated?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Jake Webber, (Hudson West) who was kidnapped by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) as a child, could have been programmed during his time on Cassadine Island, to be activated later! Could General Hospital viewers find out that Jake is a ticking time bomb?

General Hospital Spoilers – Little Jake Webber Was Kidnapped And His Death Faked

Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall that little Jake, not even kindergarten age yet, was kidnapped by Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and his death faked; Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) thought he killed little Jake when he ran out in front of him in the street, driving drunk. It was right in front of Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) home, and Jake was pronounced brain dead, with Elizabeth and her husband at the time, Lucky Spencer (at that time Greg Vaughan) agreeing to donate his kidneys.

His birth father Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) talked them into it when Carly Corinthos, then Carly Jacks (Laura Wright) told him Josslyn Jacks (now Eden McCoy) needed a kidney, the truth of Jake’s kidnapping and faked death not coming out until years later, as General Hospital viewers recall. Lucky Spencer (by that time Jonathan Jackson again) found Jake on Cassadine Island after him being there for four years, and returned him back to Elizabeth alive.

GH Spoilers – Why Would Helena Cassadine Have Kidnapped A Little Boy?

General Hospital viewers ask the question, why would Helena have kidnapped a little boy and why would she have faked his death, kidnapping him out of General Hospital, which scarred his psyche? For one thing, Helena probably already had experiments and plans in mind control going, and already had in her head to make Jason into a super soldier – the preliminary experiments on the memory transfers were already in process years earlier. Jason, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and little Jake were on the island at the same time by Jake had been there a couple of years; perhaps the brainwashing techniques were practiced on Jake because he was Jason’s son. Could Jake, now fourteen years old, be a ticking time bomb?

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain Had A Control Chip In His Brain When He Came To Port Charles

General Hospital viewers will recall Drew had a control chip in his brain when he came to Port Charles, which Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) removed from him after the wreck which almost cost him his life. Even then he had nothing of himself left –the memories that came up later were all Jason’s, since his own had been removed and on a flash drive later downloaded into Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) brain. Could Helena have had such a chip put into little Jake’s brain, with an activation code implanted to turn on later, when he got older…could that be causing some of his seemingly bizarre behavior now?

After she died she left Elizabeth a book that seemingly answered some of the questions of what happened on the island; and Jake had many nightmares and behavior problems which led to taking him to Franco for art therapy, which seemed to help. But there was evidence of Helena’s programmed control with Jake’s programming to release the toxins contained in The Chimera, which he was using in a magic trick at the Nurses’ Ball – everyone was lucky Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) recognized it and got it away from him!
