GH Spoilers: Valentin Tries To Trick Victor Cassadine

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that even though Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was in possession of the Ice Princess, he didn’t steal it from Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) nor is he the one who killed Luke. So how did Valentin come to acquire the infamous diamond and why did he frame Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) by planting it in her safe? Valentin had to know that by framing Jennifer for the theft of the Ice Princess, she would also be the primary suspect in Luke’s murder.

The person who most likely is guilty of not only stealing the diamond but killing Luke is Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), his father. But Victor recently had Valentin beaten in order to keep him from finding out the truth about Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) baby. Valentin almost died and had to go to a specialist out of town while he recovered. So the only reason that Valentin would help take suspicion off Victor is if he hoped to get in his good graces!

GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Has Hinted Of Very Big Plans For The Cassadine family!

Ever since Victor came to Port Charles last year, he has hinted that he is planning something big in the very near future. Given the Cassadine family history, this will likely be something not only criminal but dangerous for the entire town of Port Charles. Victor was involved in trying to blackmail the world’s governments by threatening to freeze the world starting with Port Charles. If Victor is planning something similar now, Valentin will certainly want no part of it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Hopes That Victor Cassadine Will Confide In Him!

Valentin certainly has no love for Victor since the beating. He knows that Victor would cast him aside in an instant if he got in the way of Victor’s plans. So by framing Jennifer, Valentin will hope it will be enough to convince Victor to reveal his plans. Valentin will seem to be siding with Victor for a time, but really he’s put himself in a position to be the one to stop his maniacal father before anyone else dies.

This will certainly cause Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to rethink any possible romance with Valentin. So hopefully, Valentin can clue her in before she closes the door on a possible romance. They are on the same side, even if Anna won’t know that for a while!
