Following accusations by Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) that she avoided sending their original divorce papers purposely, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) talks to Stella Henry (Vernée Watson). Previously, Jordan had covered up for Auntie Stella about her snatching the original divorce papers and meddling, not knowing what happened to them. Viewers will remember she had a stroke at Kelly’s, and they fell out of her purse and were soaked with coffee and were thrown away.
Now she tells Stella that the even the darkest secrets can’t stay secret. The question is, will she encourage Stella to come clean to her nephew or will she spill the tea herself?
At the hospital, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) seems shaken as she tells someone there’s something they need to know. Spoilers say she will consult with Finn, and it may be about something found in Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) medical examination. There will be something that the “Port Charles Hook” does to ensure the victims die, and perhaps she has found a clue. Brando had been coughing up blood previous to having a seizure and his vitals plummeting; possibly a tiny bone fragment traveled from his lung to his heart through his circulatory system.
Curtis has more questions of someone as he asks if they’re saying he’s not? He and Portia also had been talking at GH about his suspicions that Jordan didn’t mail the original divorce papers in purposely. This could be Stella and Jordan following up with Curtis about Stella’s part in them not being mailed.
Curtis can hardly blame Stella for having a stroke at Kelly’s and the coffee-soaked papers being thrown out by Cameron Webber (William Lipton) afterwards. But it was her fault for meddling and swiping them out of Jordan’s outgoing mail in the tray on her desk.
At the hospital, Finn continues talking about having overheard that the weapon used on Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and Brando was a hook. He’s getting more than a little bit shook up himself at the thought, exclaiming there may be a lunatic out there with a hook. This may be when he and Portia are consulting with each other about Brando, or to his father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Alexis had come to the conclusion that it is likely the same attacker in both cases, meaning that Port Charles may have another serial killer on its hands.
As for Alexis and Gregory, there is continued flirting between the two of them as Alexis teasingly asks Greg who this “we” is that he keeps speaking of. The two of them seem to be hitting it off romantically although a real date still hasn’t happened yet, but not for Greg’s lack of effort. It could be a little bit awkward for Alexis, who may still not be ready to try love again after Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death.
Another thing that could make it awkward for Alexis to date Gregory is that she dated Finn for a little while. Not to mention she knows about the previous dysfunction between Finn and Gregory over Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney).
Sasha Gilmore cries and prays for another chance, likely while doctors are working trying to save Brando’s life. It didn’t look good when he started having seizures after coughing up blood and his vital signs plummeting on the monitors. To go from such joy and hope to such fear and desperation is traumatic and devastating for the young bride, after they had just made plans for a trip. They were going to go on a real honeymoon trip in a romantic locale for their first anniversary.
Elsewhere in the hospital, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is on the phone wanting updates from someone. He tells the person on the other end to call him as soon as they can. He will also reminisce about his father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) as Port Charles mourns for one of their own, which looks to be Brando.
Sonny has a lot of hands in a lot of pots right now though, with making sure that Ava is guarded, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is safe and all his other loved ones. He looks like he hasn’t heard about Brando’s downturn yet.
Carly Corinthos, (Laura Wright) still in Jacksonville, Florida, appears to be outside in the Florida weather as someone approaches her. It doesn’t look like someone she is pleased to see as she wants to know what they are doing there. Perhaps it’s Peyton Honeycutt (Linda Purl) again, the mother of her late friend Carly Roberts who later went by Reese Marshall (Kari Wührer). Peyton may want to make sure that the prostitute’s daughter doesn’t hang around Jacksonville where she doesn’t belong, and Carly takes up a new fight.
Still in Dr. Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) office at GH, Elizabeth, undergoing regressive hypnosis, is remembering more about the repressed memory that seems to be the root of her problems. She remembered a couple of more details, such as the woman telling her that her father wouldn’t want her involved in something, and remembered her at the bottom of the staircase. Kevin keeps pushing Elizabeth to tell him who she sees, hoping to unearth the rest of the memory.
It’s easy to see how the incident with Finn throwing Peter August (Wes Ramsey) down the stairs might have triggered these memories for Elizabeth. But can she retrieve the whole memory and be able to deal with what happened?
