Her parents love him, even though it took some time for Marcus Taggert (Rèal Andrews) to warm up to a police officer — or anyone — dating his daughter. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is a big fan of Rory’s, and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) feels like she doesn’t have to worry about Trina getting hurt by Rory, or when he’s around. He’s a kind guy who supports whatever Trina wants. He’s been patient as she took time to get over her feelings for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). He held her hand during her trial over the sex tape scandal. He waited for her to be ready for something more. If there’s anything Trina could possibly list as a complaint about Rory, it’s probably only one thing: he isn’t Spencer.
