GH Spoilers: Trina Chooses Spencer Or Rory?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will have to make a choice once, positively thinking, she’s exonerated from her criminal charges. There are two good looking guys who are both trying to help her beat her charges, so she’ll have to choose.

General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Has Been Working Overtime To Expose Esmé Prince

Spencer has been working overtime to expose Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and stringing her along in the process; his latest trick is to try and bribe her into confessing. But the longer it takes to expose Esmé in order to exonerate Trina, the more he sees his chances with Trina slipping away as she grows closer to Rory. Yet she doesn’t seem to want to use Spencer as her alibi, because she doesn’t want to get him in trouble and in danger of Pentonville; why?

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Ava Cassadine (Maura West) have both been trying to talk Trina into spilling the tea. Trina saw Spencer putting flowers on his mother’s grave at the exact time Esmé uploaded the revenge porn to the internet; might she be hiding feelings for Spencer?

Trina claims she’s through with Spencer, and wants no more to do with him whatsoever – but is she—really? There has to be a reason she’s not using him for her alibi that could get rid of those criminal charges she’s facing, when getting free would be so easy.

Then, there was the chocolate cake picnic she had with Rory on the Fourth Of July – when Spencer caught them kissing; she told Rory it couldn’t happen again. She may have been concerned about the fallout should she be convicted but is that really all she was concerned about, or is there something subconscious? Most people facing years in a penitentiary would have just gone for it and not denied themselves or their partner.

General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine May Take On A Heroic Gesture

Upcoming GH spoilers tease that Trina will be surprised at a witness that comes forward at her trial; that could be Spencer, taking on a heroic gesture. She may not have to worry about getting him in trouble over his probation and parole, he may just step up himself and be her alibi. But the way it looks, Trina may just want to keep Spencer in the friend zone, nothing more, although she’ll certainly thank him if his efforts pay off.

Spencer’s had an obvious thing for Trina from the first time they met, but their whole history has been filled with deception on his part. First he wouldn’t tell her his real name or who he was, and now instead of telling her his plot to free her he’s keeping it secret!

GH Spoilers: When It Comes To A Choice, Rory Cabrera May Win Out

Once Trina is out of her trouble, and Esmé is no longer a problem, however that comes about, when it comes to a choice Rory may win out. For one thing, the fact that he is in law enforcement might appeal to Trina, who was raised as the daughter of retired detective Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

For the other, he’s been straight up with her all along and hasn’t played deceptive games like Spencer has his whole time in Port Charles. She has never had to worry where she stood with him, like she would have with Spencer, who’s like every other Cassadine and keeps many secrets. It is probably a good bet that when it comes time to make a choice, Trina will indeed choose Rory over Spencer.
