GH Spoilers: This Time Esme Will Be Pregnant

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nikolas Cassadine remaining sick to his stomach as he tries to keep his tryst with Esme Prince a secret, but how long can that go on if she really does become pregnant?

General Hospital Spoilers – A Pointless Plot Point

Why did GH have Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) believe she was pregnant a while back and then learn that she wasn’t when fans couldn’t even see her reaction to a negative pregnancy test. We just knew she was relieved when it was negative and she and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) moved on quickly from that scare. Did we get those scenes just so we could see Spencer bond with Cameron Webber (Will Lipton) over the idea of Spencer becoming a father?

If Esme did turn out to be pregnant then, there wouldn’t be much drama except for a teenage pregnancy nobody really wanted. But if she turns out to be pregnant now, this can be one messy story with ramifications for years.

GH Spoilers – Another Who’s The Daddy Plot

While Esme and Spencer haven’t slept together for a while, Esme did just have quite a romp with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and seems to want even more. Nikolas is a little sickened by what he did and will be even sicker if what he did results in a pregnancy. Meanwhile, Esme can manage to seduce son as well as she seduced father to try and pass her child off as Spencer’s, but only Nikolas would know he could possibly be the father of a baby his son’s girlfriend is carrying.

Can you even imagine the lectures Laura Collins (Genie Francis) would give her son if and when she learns the truth? Ava Jerome’s revenge would be even sweeter because this is one woman who wouldn’t want to be taken for a fool. And when the revelation comes out that this was all caused by Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and his sick obsession with her, Maura West will give herself 10 Emmy reels for 2023.

The messier the better on a soap opera and an Esme pregnancy has messy written all over it. This would even make Ryan into a grandfather, which may be weirder than the fact that he is a father. Now, if we only knew who Esme’s mother really was, this story would be complete. Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see how this story plays out.
