GH Spoilers: The Drone Footage Wasn’t Altered — What Will Happen Next For Anna Devane?

General Hospital spoilers reveals last week, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was arrested for the murder of Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Much to the dismay of PCPD Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), she was forced to place her dear friend in lock-up, but she’s hoping this whole mess will be cleared up just as soon as forensics finishes analyzing the footage of Lucy being shot. She’s not going to be happy with what happens next.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Footage Didn’t Lie

Unfortunately, the police are going to receive word from their forensic investigators soon, and it won’t bring smiles to Anna’s friends’ faces. In fact, it’s going to leave several of them quite puzzled and thinking they must be wrong. Forensics will insist the drone footage was not tampered with in any form. They might even have solid proof that the way in which it was filmed ensured it could not be tampered with even if someone wanted to try. Convenient, right?

This brings a new question to the table that Jordan had not considered. If the footage wasn’t fixed, how could someone else have Anna’s face? If Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) is behind this set-up, could he have managed to have someone else’s face reconstructed to look like Anna? Who would agree to that? The truth isn’t that complex, although Jordan will struggle to wrap her mind around it.

GH Spoilers – Indicate Robert Scorpio And Anna DeVane Surmise the Truth Jordan Can’t Grasp

When the forensics report comes back, we can almost picture Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna glancing at one another in silent agreement as though they’re both on the same page with some new trajectory the investigation will take when no one has even spoken on it yet. This could confuse Jordan, who is likely to step in and ask if anyone would like to bring her up to speed. She might want to sit down for this next bit. Robert and Anna will share that they believe Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) – Anna’s twin sister — is still alive, and that she was the person in the video who shot Lucy. Jordan is going to lament how contrived this sounds, even if she were to believe it, because she has no idea how she would prove it.

This is where the rubber meets the road, and where Victor knew it would. Robert, Anna, Jordan, Mac Scorpio (John J. York), Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will all struggle to know what comes next or how to figure out whether Alex is alive or not. Presumed dead two years ago when she was shot aboard a boat and subsequently pulled herself off into the waters, no one has acknowledged seeing her since. Of course, that doesn’t mean Victor hasn’t.
