GH Spoilers: Tensions Between Esmé And Spencer – Is She Onto His Plan?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that tensions between Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will escalate. Might Esmé be onto his plan to prove her guilty and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) innocent?

General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Came Up With A Brilliant Plan – In His Opinion

Spencer came up with a brilliant plan, at least in his opinion, to get Esmé to confess that she framed Trina for filming and uploading the revenge porn video. It was of Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) having sex for the first time, taken when they stayed at the Corinthos cabin. He and Cameron got DNA from Josslyn and her mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) to fake a mother-daughter matching DNA test.

Spencer knows that Esmé’s weakness is wanting to find her birth parents, and especially her mother. He concocted a story that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) who he’d actually asked for help, found a woman in Portugal who is Esmé’s birth mother and plans to blackmail her.

GH Spoilers: This Is Going To Knock Her Socks Off

Spencer tells Esmé that he has something that’s going to knock her socks off, and proceeds to tell her Victor thinks he found her birth mother but he needs DNA. He has the suspected birth mother’s DNA but he needs Esmé’s to run tests on to make sure that they really are a match. But Esmé is suspicious – and she decides she will find out just what Spencer is up to; Spencer wants something from her right now, like a hair or a toothbrush. She excuses herself for a few minutes and she gets Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) toothbrush and gives it to him – they happen to have toothbrushes alike. She didn’t want to pull out any of her gorgeous hairs, after all.

General Hospital Spoilers: Both Spencer Cassadine And Esmé Prince Are Suspicious Now

Both Esmé and Spencer are suspicious of each other now; Spencer as to why she wouldn’t give her a piece of hair and Esmé as to why he insisted on one. Spencer deflects, asking her doesn’t she want to know if this woman is really her mother or not, and the two argue over what yields the better DNA. Spencer desperately wants his plan to work and this is the first step; getting Esmé to believe this woman is her birth mother, and they can find out for sure.

It is very much a battle of the wills and like the clash of the titans to get Esmé to settle down and one is just as stubborn as the other!  But then Esmé suddenly agrees; this is not worth fighting over so hard, and yes she does want to know for sure.

GH Spoilers: Spencer Cassadine Placated But Esmé Prince Sneaky

Spencer is placated, but Esmé is sneaky, and he knows she’s suspicious and seems to be onto him; not one to be outdone, he goes to their bathroom when she’s not looking. Her toothbrush is still there and so he knows she must have someone else’s. Spencer doesn’t care if she gets mad when she realizes he was onto her as well and took her toothbrush, because he’s making a point. He could just put the toothbrush she gave him in its place but he wants her to know he’s onto her. He’ll save the other one and wait to see if someone else is missing theirs.
