GH Spoilers: Taggert Recognizes Marshall And Delivers A Clear Message!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that the reason Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) recognize each other is because Marshall was in the mob back in the day, possibly even as far back as when Sonny was a teen working for Joe Scully, Sr.(Robert Miano). General Hospital viewers remember Sonny and Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) go back to the Bensonhurst days and Taggert will recognize Marshall too!

General Hospital Spoilers – Stay Away!

Longtime General Hospital viewers know that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was also in Bensonhurst during that time period – he looked to Sonny’s abusive stepfather Deke Woods (uncredited character) as a mentor. Deke was the reason that Taggert had decided to become a cop; of course, he had no idea what Deke was like at home and how he mistreated his family!

General Hospital viewers will remember Taggert had a vendetta against Sonny and tracked him down to Port Charles years ago, vengeful against him for getting his mentor killed by Scully! Taggert and Sonny have since mended fences with each other and worked together to take down Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), so that years long feud is over, but when Taggert sees Marshall he recognizes him from the Scully gang and delivers a clear message-stay away! It looks like Marshall has more to fear from Taggert than he ever will from Sonny!

GH Spoilers – Marcus Taggert Knows Marshall Ashford Is Curtis Ashford’s Father

General Hospital viewers know that Taggert knows Marshall is Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) father – and that Curtis is moving in together with Taggert’s ex-wife Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), and Taggert had actually just given Portia his blessing on that. General Hospital viewers know that Taggert and Curtis would be on the same page where Marshall is concerned, if they knew for sure he was still dangerous, but how does anyone really know that when he’s been missing for so many years?

 That has been exactly Curtis’ point in trying to get his father’s criminal record unsealed, which Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had refused to do-but even if Curtis doesn’t have the proof, he doesn’t want his father bringing trouble to his door! Viewers will recall that Curtis talked to Marshall about his strong reactions to Sonny, and Marshall had said he hoped he wouldn’t call in his debts – leading General Hospital viewers and Curtis to wonder what exactly Marshall had owed Sonny!

General Hospital Spoilers – Marcus Taggert Talks To Curtis Ashford About His Father

General Hospital viewers know that Taggert and Curtis have had a lot to deal with already, what with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) being framed for a crime she didn’t commit and trying to solve that problem! But General Hospital viewers know that Taggert wouldn’t have the restrictions that Jordan does because he’s no longer on the force or in the DEA – he talks to Curtis about what he knows about Marshall from years ago in Bensonhurst.

Agreed, Marshall knew a much younger and off the rails Sonny, one with a chip on his shoulder from abuse, and certainly before his diagnosis of bipolar disorder; and unbeknownst to Curtis or Taggert, Marshall’s got some similar problems of his own. Sonny not on meds and Marshall not on meds and undiagnosed may have been totally different and more dangerous personalities in the past, but Curtis and Taggert must protect their own!
