GH Spoilers: Steve Burton Sets the Record Straight, He And Wife Separated

General Hospital (GH) spoilers show that Steve Burton (ex Jason Morgan) is sharing information with fans about both his professional and personal life. It was recently announced that he has joined the cast of Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem and today he made the announcement that he and his wife Sheree are separated.

This is what the daytime drama star posted to his Instagram Stories: “I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated, she recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine. We are still co-parenting our three beautiful kids. We would appreciate privacy at this time. Much luv, Steve.”

His post comes after it was reported that he and his wife, Sheree Burton, were expecting a fourth child.

That news about the Burton family came on the heels of Sheree earlier sharing a photo on her Instagram Stories with the caption, “Life sure is full of surprises!,” while cradling her baby bump. Some outlets reported that Steve and Sheree were having another child. To be clear, they have 3 children, Brooklyn Faith, Makena Grace, and Jack Marshall. As Steve announced, he and Sheree are separated and she is expecting a child and he is not the father.

General Hospital Spoilers – Steve Burton Is Making News

The former General Hospital star has joined the cast of NBC’s Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem which premieres July 11. Burton’s new soap gig comes five months after his departure from the ABC sudser.

Fans have not stopped clamoring for the handsome and talented actor’s return and now they will be able to see him once again, albeit on a different soap on a different network. On Friday, April 29, DOOL executive producer Ron Carlivati confirmed the news of Burton’s casting in a tweet.

As one might expect, details about Burton’s character are being kept top secret for now. The casting is a coup for NBC and fans could not be more delighted at the prospect of seeing their favorite star back in action. Burton previously left GH and joined the CBS soap The Young and the Restless as Dylan MacAvoy before returning to his role as Jason Morgan.
